The Stone Doctors concept was founded in 2009 when 16 urologists from Comprehensive Medical realized the benefits of a kidney stone organization that could offer comprehensive and streamlined metabolic evaluation and prevention.

The Stone Doctors organization now consists of 34 doctors with participating practice pods in more than 10 cities throughout Southeastern Michigan including Westland, Troy, Royal Oak, West Bloomfield, Clinton Township, Roseville, Dearborn, Taylor, Rochester, Novi, Livonia, and Warren.

The Stone Doctors organization is set apart from other providers because of it’s unique, service oriented approach and Prevention Exclusive Protocol (PEP-24) that enables patients to better control risk of reoccurring kidney stones.

Because of its strategic partnerships, The Stone Doctors is a practice that is able to offer same day   appointments, metabolic evaluations within 24 hours and treatment within 2-3 days. This includes complete workups, same day CT scans and prompt follow-up and coordination with patients’ referring physician.
